Become a Senior Aupair!
Are you curious about the world, rich in life experience, and eager to try something new again?
Are you up for new challenges and ready to try something new? Imagine being able to discover a new country, improve your language skills immerse yourself deeply in a different culture, and do something truly meaningful at the same time.
As a senior aupair, you have exactly this opportunity: Youâll spend time with children, share your life experiences, contribute your skills, and discover just how enriching it is to be part of a familyâs daily life. Instead of traveling alone, youâll find a home and a family that warmly welcomes you and includes you in their daily life.
The Senior Aupair Program is primarily aimed at german speaking retirees or those in a partial retirement arrangement who wish to put their life experience to good use and rediscover the world in a special way.
Â
At the same time, the program is also open to people who are consciously taking a career break or sabbatical abroad and are looking for fulfilling work in a family setting.
Â
Whether youâre in the post-career phase of life or taking a deliberate break from your career, what matters most is an open mind, a passion for intergenerational and intercultural exchange, and a desire to temporarily help a host family abroad with childcare.
Iâll personally guide you from the very beginning and, if youâd like, assist you with all organizational matters, from contracts, visas, and insurance to your arrival.
Â
Thanks to my extensive network of mostly german speaking families in many countries around the world, limited proficiency in the local language isnât a problem. This way, you can get off to a relaxed start, feel at home right away, and still improve your language skills through everyday life.Â
Â
Families whose native language is not german also welcome support. This can be an option for senior aupairs who would like to use their foreign language skills within the family.
Anyone can become a senior aupair, whether a woman, a man, or even a couple who wants to support a family together. As a senior aupair, you should have at least two months available, enjoy spending time with children, be open to intercultural exchange, and be willing to become part of a host family. A basic knowledge of the local language is helpful.
Â
During your stay, the host family will provide room and board so that you can fully immerse yourself in family life. Details such as travel arrangements, spending money, and other arrangements will be worked out individually between you and the family.
Â
From your first consultation through your start with your host family (and beyond), if you wish, youâll receive expert and caring support. Together, weâll ensure that your stay abroad is an enriching and unforgettable experience.
