Senior Aupair brings two needs together:
Mostly german speaking people in the second half of their lives who long for a meaningful experience abroad, and families who are looking for warm, reliable, and experienced support with childcare.
For Senior Aupairs, this means the opportunity to discover new things once again, immerse themselves in a different culture, improve their language skills, contribute their experiences, and actively help shape the family’s daily life by accompanying and caring for the host family’s children and being truly needed.
For families, this means relief in their daily lives and the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children are in experienced, responsible hands.
The term “senior” here stands for life experience, maturity, and serenity. Just as we speak of a “senior project manager” or a “senior product manager” in the professional world, “senior aupair” refers to people who are in the prime of their lives, take on responsibility, and are open to new experiences.

Senior Aupair – Building bridges between generations and cultures
My name is Angela Harde, and I launched this project because I want to bring people together: aupairs with life experience and families who can benefit from and enrich each other’s lives. For me, it’s not just about organization; above all, it’s about trust, appreciation, and genuine connections.
With over 20 years of experience in international tourism and adult education, as well as my passion for working with children, I support senior aupairs and families on their journey toward enriching encounters. I help ensure that both sides feel well taken care of and that their time together abroad becomes a positive, enriching experience.
It’s important to me that every encounter is based on mutual respect and has a lasting impact for the family, for the children, and for the aupairs themselves.
From the initial contact to a successful living arrangement, I can personally guide every interaction, upon request, with warmth and a focus on what truly matters.
